About Me
My Story
My name is Avery Rethage and I am 19 years old. I attend Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Punxsutawney, where I am enrolled in the Culinary Arts program. I have been cooking since I was a child, where I started making chili alongside of my parents. During Covid-19, I became determined to cook and bake something new everyday for my family so I can learn as much as I can. This experience opened my eyes and made me realize that I wanted to pursue Culinary Arts as my career and learn and experience something different each day.

These are some of my culinary and baking photos I have taken over the school year!
Over my culinary school year, I have taken two baking classes: Introduction to Baking and Intermediate Baking. I learned so many new things and I absolutely loved it all. Baking was so much fun. My favorite dish we made was the Creme Brulee!
